ASTRA2Connect satellite broadband is the perfect vehicle for “VoIP” telephone via the Internet. VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) calls to anywhere in the World can be made at low cost and provide a reliable alternative to a landline telephone.
With VoIP, you can chat on the phone at the same time as the broadband connection is used to, say, browse the Internet – all with a single ASTRA2Connect broadband connection – and VoIP over ASTRA2Connect uses capacity dedicated for voice use for the best possible call quality at all times.
Where ASTRA2Connect replaces dial-up Internet over a poor landline, VoIP provides a second, better quality phone connection. In an installation without a landline, VoIP via ASTRA2Connect gives you a phone connection for the first time.
Keep in the picture
With the optional add-on TV pack of a multifeed clamp plus quad LNB, and a standard satellite TV set-top box, you can use your ASTRA2Connect dish to receive and watch hundreds of satellite TV and radio channels, from either the ASTRA 19.2°E or the ASTRA 28.2°E satellites, as well as access the Internet.
Either satellite position can provide you with hundreds of TV channels in digital quality, in many languages, in standard and high definition, and for free.

ASTRA2Connect broadband access and TV reception are separate and can be used simultaneously. The TV reception add-on pack is purchased from your ASTRA2Connect service provider, who will make no charge for its use (subscription charges may be payable for some satellite TV and radio services).
The add-on TV pack may be simply fitted to the ASTRA2Connect dish when it is first installed, or at a later date as an upgrade.
